Many of us are getting ready for our first big Christmas after lockdown. 

But thousands of women and children face another day trapped at home with an abuser.

£5 a month could go towards providing emotional support to a child.
90% of domestic abuse in a family household happens in the presence of a child. Your regular gift could help children to overcome the trauma of experiencing domestic abuse.

£8 a month could give a woman her independence back.
Women are often forced to stop working by their abusers, or they have to leave their jobs when they escape. Your regular gift could provide financial and legal advice from our skilled staff, to help give a woman back her independence.

£10 a month could provide an emergency pack for a woman arriving at a refuge.
Every day, women escaping life-threatening situations seek safety in our refuges. Many arrive with little more than the clothes they are wearing. Your gift could provide toiletries, food and clothing to help a woman through her first night.

£25 could pay for a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings for a woman and her children staying in a refuge.

£52 could pay for a warm bed in one of our 41 refuges, so women and children can wake up safe and supported at Christmas.

£104 could pay for 2 warm beds in one of our 41 refuges, so women and children can wake up safe and supported at Christmas.

£250 could help to buy Christmas dinner for 10 families staying in our refuges over the holidays.
